Built in 1987 on the initiative of a group of friends, lead by the passion of national-level golf players Luciano Roccia and Piero Cora, the Golf Club La Margherita raised up as a “country club” and quickly transformed into a golf course ready to host National and International Competitions.
Par 72 with 18 holes running for over 6 kilometres with a rather uneven tendency, the course was designed and supervised by Marco Croze, who realised, among others, the courses in Albarella and Riva dei Tessali, and Giorgio Ferraris, who also created the modern and functional Club House.
Wide and well cared fairways are surrounded by water obstacles, while fast and undulating greens are protected by several bunkers. This combination generates a technical and challenging course constantly mantained by highly qualified greenkeepers. Together with the driving range, consisting on open air and covered position, putting green 18 holes, and a pitching area, our course is considered one of the best in Italy.
Golf Club La Margherita is located conveniently close to the city of Turin, which hosts many cultural, gastronomical and social events, and into the beautiful Langhe and Roero areas, worldwide famous for their landscape, wine and food. That’s why the Golf Club is an ideal destination for golfers as well as non-golfers, a reference point to discover natural beauty, history, and gastronomy pleasure of Piedmont.
