On 31st October 2017 Alba was named UNESCO Creative City of Gastronony, thus becoming part of a virtuous cities network in which creativity, in different areas, has improved their people’s living standards and created an economy.
Alba today is known across the world for its products of excellence, but this city doesn’t forget that, just a few decades ago, these were the same “Malora” hills (run-down hills, NdT) narrated by the writer Fenoglio. For this reason, tradition and innovation have different styles, giving rise to constant creativity, making this area an increasingly coveted tourist destination, sought by visitors from around the world.
