First of all, sieve the flour and add the sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Stir. Separately, melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave and combine it with the egg yolk and then the dry ingredients.
Knead until you obtain a smooth and compact dough. Roll it into a ball, cover and leave to rest for half an hour at room temperature. Now place the dough (softening it with your hands) in a pastry bag with star-shaped mouth. Pipe into half-moon shaped biscuits. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 12/15 minutes, until the biscuits are golden. Once out of the oven, leave them to cool for a few minutes.
