Festival Pagliacce 2026

From 14 to 18 October, Turin becomes the capital of female clowns: five days of performances featuring artists from all over the world! The 2026 edition bears the slogan ‘Creatures from Elsewhere’: a journey through strange worlds, unknown creatures and unexpected similarities. Pagliacce 2026 explores the Elsewhere as a space of imagination, myth, dreams and artistic invention. Every encounter with the different becomes a way of recognising ourselves: we are all alike, with our strengths, flaws and marvellous quirks. From the grotesque to the political clown, every performance will be a blend of comedy, emotion and critical thinking, for a festival that both entertains and provokes thought.
