The initiative, organised by the Order of Architects PPC of the Province of Turin in collaboration with the Arco Alpino Architects’ Association, brings a film project back to the region that explores the present and future of the highlands through ten design projects spread across the Alpine arc. Directed by Davide Fois and Francesca Molteni, the documentary film explores key themes in contemporary architecture, ranging from the relationship between the built environment and the landscape to adaptation to climate change, from the regeneration of marginalised territories to the repopulation of inland areas, and the role of communal spaces and the communities that inhabit the mountains. The evening will be introduced by architects Emilia Garda and Paolo Giordano, Councillors of the Order of Architects PPC of the Province of Turin, and by architect Alessandro Cimenti, a member of the Arco Alpino Architects’ Association.
