A programme of four theatrical events, including no fewer than three world premieres. The chosen subtitle is both emblematic and provocative: ‘On stage: the fragmented drama of the new Savoyard society + culture – fear’. Now in its seventh edition, the festival seeks to offer a glimpse of the present, drawing on the dramas, voices, bodies, images and stories of those who inhabit it and interpret it through their own aesthetic. The programme spans registers, styles and generations that are worlds apart. It begins with the premiere of Pino Potenza’s show, which brings his story and life experiences to the stage. Another premiere in the vein of Puso’s light-hearted and surreal comedy. Then, on Maundy Thursday, a secular reflection on passion and pain, drawing on Christ’s resilience through Sara Lisanti’s physical expression. The festival closes with another premiere: a brand-new show on mental health born from the collaboration of two artists, Diego Lacaille and Jacopo Tealdi.
