Viva le donne! Il femminismo nelle fotografie di Paola Agosti

01/04/2026 - 02/06/2026

Long live women! Feminism in Paola Agosti's photographs celebrates one of the most important perspectives on the birth of the Italian feminist movement, with a focus on Rome in the 1970s.   Through a selection of 80 vintage black-and-white images by Paola Agosti and archival materials, the exhibition conveys the strength and radicalism of a period of collective participation that transformed Italian society.   Her photographs were taken in the midst of protest marches and in spaces of identity, recounting not only the public dimension of the struggle, but also its intimate and relational aspects: a vivid narrative that dialogues with the present, questioning new generations about the achievements made and the battles still to be fought.
