For the first time, this thematic exhibition offers a direct comparison between the extraordinary and pioneering iconographic invention developed by Beato Angelico around 1425-1428 for the representation of the Last Judgement in the famous panel now preserved in the Museum of San Marco, and the work belonging to the collections of the Galleria Sabauda, executed by the Flemish painter Bartholomäus Spranger between 1570 and 1571 for Pope Pius V.
