In 2017 Molly Russel is found dead by suicide in her room. In 2022, after the coroner's report, the medical examiner states: ‘the blame for Molly's suicide lies primarily with Instagram and Pinterest, and their algorithms'. She was 14 years old and had an apparently normal life between school, social networks and a beautiful family. In the last six months she had seen more than 2100 pieces of content related to depression, suicide and self-harm, including a myriad of digital tips.
