Caffè confetteria Abrate

Opened in 1866 as a bakery, during the time of the Savoy family, it became the official supplier of breakfasts for Princes training at the "Royal School of Cavalry," served on a silver tray.

Its delicious desserts also satisfied the palates of the greats who performed at the Teatro Regio, such as Puccini, Rossini and Tamagno, and the greats of the Kingdom of Italy, including Lamarmora, Ricasoli, Rattazzi and Menabrea.

Today, after being renovated and expanded, it features furniture and showcases from the 1920s and 1930s.
