A new appointment as part of the 'La Grande Fotografia Italiana' (Great Italian Photography) exhibition hosted by the Intesa Sanpaolo museum in Piazza San Carlo. Mario Giacomelli and Antonio Biasiucci, among the greatest exponents of twentieth-century Italian photography, have succeeded in transfiguring, with the camera, their reality and the deep roots from which they come, the Marche and Campania regions. Poetically involved in the representation of the rituals and seasons of the countryside, the two artists succeeded in their objective of recounting rural life with melancholy and visionary power through their camera shots.
