Vialattea

Vialattea is synonymous with wide open spaces, scenic slopes that unite characteristic Occitan hut villages with modern villages equipped with all the comforts and leisure.

The vastness and variety of the ski area manage to satisfy both the most demanding skiers, thanks to the long and challenging slopes, and those who are approaching the world of skiing for the first time.
 

The Vialattea's ski offerings are vast: Europe's largest international ski area, stretching between Italy and France, stretches from Sestriere to Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Oulx, Claviere, Pragelato, all the way to France's Montgenèvre.

Offering more than 200 slopes, all ski-connected, for a linear extension of 400 km that lie between the 1350 metres of Cesana to the 2800 meters of Motta.

For the more reckless, snowboarding and ski-cross enthusiasts, parks are available at the various locations in the area, fully equipped for breathtaking jumps and stunts.

The more experienced skiers will also enjoy the thousand mogul slopes: some marked runs, avalanche chutes and particularly challenging sections will allow them to express themselves freely among the natural bumps.

Great attention is also paid to the little ones: don't miss the Baby Fun Parks in Sestriere, Sansicario and Sauze d'Oulx set up with nice inflatable structures suitable for introducing the little ones to skiing in a fun way.

The Vialattea is also easy to reach, being an hour's drive from Turin airport and just over two hours from those of Milan, Genoa, Cuneo Le Valdigi, Geneva and Nice.

The train station is in Oulx and is served daily by numerous high-speed trains on the Rome - Turin - Lyon - Paris line. Arriving by car from Turin, the first lifts in the area, those of Sauze d'Oulx Jouvenceaux, are only 3 km from the "Sauze d'Oulx - Cesana - Claviere - Sestriere" freeway exit of the A32 Fréjus.

La Vialattea è anche facile da raggiungere, si trova  ad un’ora di auto dall’aeroporto di Torino ed a poco più di due ore da quelli di Milano, Genova, Cuneo Le Valdigi, Ginevra e Nizza.

La stazione ferroviaria è ad Oulx ed è servita giornalmente da numerosi treni ad alta velocità sulla linea Roma — Torino — Lyon - Paris. Arrivando in auto da Torino, i primi impianti del comprensorio, quelli di Sauze d’Oulx Jouvenceaux, sono a soli 3 km dall’uscita autostradale “Sauze d’Oulx — Cesana - Claviere — Sestriere” dell’A32 del Fréjus.
