CASTELLO PINELLI GENTILE

The castle-fortress that dominates the hamlet of Tagliolo has ancient origins which document that it was one of the first Aleramo properties. Dating back to that period is the lower part of the square tower. Transformed by centuries of fashion and by the tastes of the various owners – from the Marquis del Bosco to the Malaspina family, to the Republic of Genova, to the Visconti family, to the Sforza family - it became the property of the Doria Gentile and then of the Marquis Pinelli Gentile. Inside, there are stupendous embellished rooms with antique paintings and original furnishings. The wine cellars are still putting out an excellent wine production.
