LOCANDA DEL SANT'UFFIZIO

The restaurant is located within a former seventeenth-century convent, which has been transformed into a boutique hotel, and is situated in a splendid natural setting, surrounded by hills, ancient hamlets and vineyards. The cuisine is inspired by local traditions but it is not lacking in creativity. Menu highlights include Fassone raw beef with bagna caoda, lasagne ‘monferrine’ with rabbit ragout and tomato concasse, Saluzzo hen ravioli in broth with black truffles and roast Sambucano lamb with thyme and oven-baked filled artichokes. The wine menu has a vast selection of national wines but particular attention is paid to local labels.
