Since 1897 it has been one of the resellers of the famous A. Giordano chocolate factory in Turin. The place reveals the diffusion of late eighteenth-century decorative modules in the interior and exterior furnishings. Floral decorations recur and adorn the joints of the wooden elements of the furniture, the external shop window and the pillar board. Inside, open shelving and large mirrors double the space of the small sales area.
For more than a hundred years the name A. Giordano has been among the best known in the Piedmontese chocolate industry. The current owners jealously guard the old and secret recipes of the founder, continuing in the preparation of typical products of the Turin tradition: favourites, trio of hazelnuts, cremini, liqueur chocolates and gianduiotti, but above all the specialties of gianduiotti and giacomette entirely kneaded and spatulated by hand.
