Located under the arcades of the square of the same name in the historic palace Turinetti di Priero, Caffè San Carlo is one of the oldest historical venues in the Savoy city. A Risorgimento stronghold, it was then a meeting place for politicians, intellectuals and artists, the soul of the city and a fervent and lively meeting place.
Opened in 1822, the Café is an elegant space for meeting and sharing, where the historical legacy of the place is renewed in a contemporary vision. Since 2022, Caffè San Carlo has been located within the museum space of Intesa Sanpaolo, which boasts ten thousand square metres of exhibition space on five floors, including three hypogeums, dedicated to photography and Baroque in Piazza San Carlo at Palazzo Turinetti.
