Piano35

Just eight months after opening, Piano35 already boasted a Michelin star. But the restaurant in the Intesa San Paolo skyscraper in Turin, designed by Renzo Piano, also boasts another record: tallest restaurant in Italy. It stands, in fact, 150 meters high, with the bioclimatic greenhouse next to it. A green lung within the city in which to breathe, enjoy the view and, most importantly, eat well throughout the day. At lunch, the proposal of chefs Marco Sacco, his son Simone and Christian Balzo is simple with the bistro formula. At dinner, however, the doors of the gourmet restaurant open. Three possible itineraries include "Piccolo lago a Torino", to discover chef Marco Sacco's roots. "Giro d'Italia" explores the Bel Paese with, for example, spaghetti, hay and chamomile infusion, soda saltworts, almonds and twait shad. In addition to the a la carte menu, still, one can travel with "In Piemonte," which lists milk snails, smoked field herbs, cow udder, horseradish sauce, and herb oil, among many other offerings. Each of these culinary journeys can be accompanied by wine tastings and, in each case, breathtaking views.
