The restaurant Del Cambio was inaugurated in 1757 and it offers intense and delicate flavours reminding of the old Piedmont, combining tradition and creativity. In the larger room is kept a table where the Count Camillo Benso di Cavour, who was one of its most regular customers, used to sit. The historic restaurant was indeed a meeting place for the most important politicians, aristocrats, and Subalpine and Kingdom cultural figures. The irresistible charm of the place, which is all velvet, crystals and antique furniture, is combined with a robust cuisine, which is deeply rooted in tradition: Cambio financière, agnolotti with roast beef sauce, risotto with Barolo, Piedmontese fritto misto, Fassone fillet. The wine list is rich and proposes a good selection of regional wines.
