Savoy potatoes are a typical Piedmontese dish made with a few simple ingredients. Peel the potatoes, cut them into fairly thick slices and boil for 10 minutes in salted water.
Drain and place them in a baking tray with a little oil. Sprinkle the previously diced Fontina and melted butter over them. Season with salt and pepper and add the milk.
Bake the potatoes at 200° C and cook for about 20 minutes, or at least until the milk has been absorbed and the potatoes are golden.
