A square of five words lined up so you can read it in every direction. We speak of the magic square of the SATOR, which has always put a strain on those who tried to penetrate the arcane meaning, providing the most varied interpretations.
In Torino (Turin) there are three designed on a building in Via Gioberti 23. This curious "decoration" is in a vertical position and occupies all four floors of the building. But this time we are not faced with the simple grid that contains the five words: Sator, Arepo, Tenet, Opera, Rotas, but the way it has been inserted into an even more complex design.
There is no information on who commissioned the building. All we can do is admire the curious design and the wonderful symbols represented, by trying to interpret it, each with our own imagination.
