A legend tells that many years ago in the village of Casasse, in Valchiusella, on the opposite side of Succinto, lived an old witch.
The harpy had no relationship with anyone and everyone was afraid to approach her.
One day, during a walk, she met two laughing children; thinking that they were mocking her, she took revenge that same night by collapsing the foundations of the house where the two boys lived. Her limitless anger also collapsed the walls of the witch's house, killing her.
Her body was never found, but because it is said that those creatures cannot die without having first passed their powers to someone else, it seems that even today in Casasse hovers a wrathful spirit that still makes passers-by shudder.
