CASTELLO DEI TORRIANI E BANDELLO

Palazzo Pretorio, built in the 15th century, is located in Castelnuovo Scrivia’s little medieval square. The architectural structure has a lovely groin vault portico, double lancet windows, and a balcony; the palazzo’s interior has two large halls enriched with 15th century decorations and, on the ground floor, the library rooms. The castle is dominated by a 39-mete- high crenellated tower, the original structure of which goes back to the 1400’s.
